                          Evon Stokes

Graveside services for Evon Stokes (Mrs.  T. B. Stokes), 84, of
Shreveport, will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2000, in
Hamilton Cemetery with Bro.  Larry Joyner Officiating.  Services
are under the Direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Rome of Ruston.

Mrs. Stokes died January 8, 2000, in Shreveport.  She had been a
resident of Bernice prior to moving to Shreveport.

She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 yrs., T.B.
Stokes.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Lee of Shreveport; grandson,
James M. Lee and wife Krystal of Shreveport; three great-
grandchildren, Michael, Heather, and Taylor Lee all of Shreveport;
brother, Bobby G. Davis of Gibsland; and several nieces and
nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday, January 10,
2000 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Bernice.
