Strickland Services for Delola M. Strickland, 69 of Ruston, will be held at 2p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2000 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. George Ridge assisted by Bro. Barnes. Interment will be in Forest lawn Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Strickland died March 8, 2000, in Ruston, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Strickland was a lifelong resident of Ruston. She has worked at Ser-vice Cleaners for the last 40 years. She was preceded in death by her father, John White and brother-in-law, John M. Holtzclaw. Mrs. Strickland was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James H. Strickland of Ruston; mother, Loye Mae White of Ruston; daughter, Gail Reel and husband Randy of Hallsville, Texas; two sons, Terry Strickland and wife Kathy of West Monroe, Art Strickland and wife Becky of Farmerville; three sis-ters, Barbara Holtzclaw of Choudrant, Nina Rogers and her husband Jerry of Simsboro, Jeannie Hammons and husband Max of Ruston; three brothers, John White and wife Virginia of Ruston, David White and wife Linda of Ruston, and James White and wife Emogene of Dubach eight grandchildren, Cade Martin and wife Debbie of Waskom, Texas, Rebecca Nau of Longview, Texas, Stacy Austin and husband Andy of West Monroe, Jessica Bates and husband Kevin of West Monroe, Jenni-fer Strickland of Ruston, Chris Strickland of Farmerville and Karrissa Strickland of Farmerville; three great grandchildren, Tiffany Stormi and Shelby, numerous well loved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be J. D. Strickland, Kevin Bate, Andy Austin, Chris Strickland, Cade Martin and Todd Weaver. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2000 at the funeral home.
