The Ruston Daily Leader, October, 1999 June Stancil Toler June Stancil Toler departed from this life to be reunited with loved ones on October 9, 1999. After being raised in Farmerville by her loving parents, she earned her degree at Louisiana Tech in Ruston. June taught second grade for two years before joining her husband, Glendon D. Toler, Sr. and her father and mother, J. W. and Lillie Pace Stancil, in Cleveland, Texas, where they were co-founders of Pace-Stancil Funeral Homes in Liberty and Chambers counties. The Toler family, June, Glendon, Sandra and "Bubba" moved to Dayton, Texas, in 1945 where she was active in the family business as well as in many church, school, and civic activities in Dayton and Liberty. June served as President of the Magnolia District of the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs, was active in the state organizations, and was an enduring helpmate to her family. June and Glen retired to Cleveland in 1965 where she continued her social and civic activities for many years. Her family will dearly miss her but rejoice in the blessings of her heavenly reunion. Funeral services will be held at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton on Tuesday, October 12, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. R. C. Hammock officiating, followed by graveside services at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens in Cleveland at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Howell Burkhead officiating. Survivors include one son, Glen D. "Bubba" Toler and wife Bar- bara of Tarkington Prairie; one daughter, Sandra Toler Malone of Austin; grandchildren, Pat Malone, Jr., and wife Angela of Dallas, Patricia Kellie Malone of Waco, sister Toler Borsey and husband Dan of Dallas, Kimber Toler Hinch and husband Wes of Liberty and Daniel Rabun Toler of Tarkington Prairie; great grandchildren, Foster Malone, William Daniel Brosey and Hannah Grace Hinch. Mrs. Toler was preceded in death by her father, J. W. Stancil, Jr., her mother, Lillie Pace Stancil, and her husband, Glendon D. Toler, Sr. Pallbearers will be Pat Malone, Jr., Daniel Toler, Pat Malone, Sr, Gary Johnson, Clodis Cox and Dan Brosey. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 1999 at - Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
