MURRIE LEE CHESIRE TURNBOW

Ruston, LA

RUSTON, LA - Services for Murrie Lee Chesire Turnbow, age 78, of Ruston,
LA, will be at 3:30 PM, Friday, March 24, 2000, at Cook Baptist Church
in Ruston, with Rev.  Gil Authur of-ficiating.  Burial will be in Forest
Lawn Memorial Park, under direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral
Home.

Mrs. Turnbow died Thursday, March 23, 2000 at Lincoln Gen-eral Hospital
after a lengthy ill-ness.

She was a member of Zions Rest Primitive Baptist Church, and was a
retired P. E. teacher at Ruston High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barnard Turnbow.

Survivors include one daugh-ter and son-in-law: Jane and Danny Tatum of
Ruston, LA; two grandsons: Tyler and Ryan Tatum of Ruston, LA; and one
brother: Ted Chesire of Jack-son, MS.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
