HENRI ALICE WISE

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Ruston for 
Miss Henri Alice Wise of Ruston,LA.
She died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, 
MS.
Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach, LA.

Miss Wise, a retired teacher, was a native of Dubach, LA and resident of 
Ruston, LA during her life time. She taught at Dubach High School, Arcadia 
High School, Louisiana State University at Lafayette, LA and A.E. Phillips 
Laboratory School at Louisiana Tech University of Ruston, LA. During her 
lifetime, she was a member of numerous professional, religious, and civic 
organizations. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Ruston, 
LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. John Henry Wise and a 
sister, Mrs. Thelma Wise Johnson. Survivors include two nieces, Donna Johnson 
McCrary and husband, Dr. Robert McCrary of Hattiesburg, MS and Marilyn Johnson 
Wedel and husband, Paul Wedel from Muscatine, Iowa; six great nieces and 
nephews. Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM Tuesday at First Baptist Church of 
Ruston. Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, MS is in charge of 
arrangements
