Autrey & Others } Know all men by these presents that we, Absalom Autrey, partner and survivor Deed Land } in community of the estate of Elizabeth Autrey, deceased, and William N., John B. L. Mitchell } Robert M., John, Bird, Charles and Martha Autrey, Lucinda Mitchell wife of John B. L. Mitchell , who is present consenting and authorizing this act of his wife Lucinda, Elizabeth J. Fuller wife of Silas M. Fuller who is present consenting and authorizing this act of his said wife Elizabeth, Celia Field wife of William Field who is present consenting and authorizing this act of his wife Celia, Elizabeth Mitchell wife of Charles J. Mitchell who is present consenting and authorizing this act of his said wife Elizabeth, Sarah Lovelady wife of Obediah Lovelady who is present consenting and authorizing this act of his wife Sarah all lawful and legal heirs of age in the estate of Elizabeth Autrey, deceased, all of the Parish of Union and State of Louisiana have this day the _______ of April A.D. 1868 have granted and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and deliver unto Thomas J. Autrey of the Parish of Union and State of Louisiana the following tract or parcel of land, situated and being in the said Parish of Union and State of Louisiana described and numbered as follows to wit: the East half of the Southwest quarter Section 21; The Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter, Section 28, Township 20, Range 3 West containing one hundred and twenty acres, more or less together with all the rights, titles, claims and improvements belonging and annexed thereto for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and forty dollars, cash in hand the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said parties of the first part agreeing and binding themselves, his heirs and assigns to defend and protect the said Thomas J. Autrey, his heirs and assigns forever peaceable and lawful possessions of the same. In witness whereof we the said parties of the first part and Thomas J. G. Autrey all that tract of land lying and being in the Parish of Union Known as the West quarter of the Southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 28, Township 20, Range 3 West according to the original survey containing Ten acres more or less for and in consideration of Twenty dollars cash in hand paid at and before the signing and delivery of these presents, the parties of the first part will forever warrant and defend the right and title of the said land to the said B. The parties of the first part will forever warrant and defend the right and title of the said land to the said Robert M. Autrey free from encumbrances and the claims of any and all persons whatever. Autrey of the first part and W. C. Moore of the send part, witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to him in hand paid, by the said party of the second part, the receipt where of doth bargain and sell unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, all the East half of the North half of the South West quarter of Section 27, Township 20, Range 3 West and all of that part of the West half of the North half of the South West quarter and East of Lake Creek together with all and singular the hereditments and appurtenances then unto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits and also all the Estate right, title, interest, claim or demand whatsoever of him the said party of the first part, either in law or equity every part and parcel thereof, to have and to hold to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, with sole and only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, forever in witness whereof, we affix our names and seal Robert M. Autrey of the second part witnessed that the said party of the C. Autrey } first part for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred (dollars) to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part, this receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell with the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, all that part of the West half of the north half of the Southwest quarter of Section 27, Township 20, Range 3 West and west of lake on Autrey Creek. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the revision and revisions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits, and also all the estate rite, title, interest, claim or demand whatsoever of him the said party of the first part, either in Law or Equity every part or parcel thereof to have and to hold to the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns to the sale and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. (Also) the Southeast quarter of Southwest quarter of Section 22, Township 20, Range 3 West according to the original survey containing forty acres more or less all for and in consideration of $240.00 cash in hand paid at and before the signing and delivery of these presence the parties of the first part will forever warrant and defend the right and title of the said land to the said J.
