Box 67, Livingston, La. 70754-0067. Source: The inscription information was copied by Clark Forrest, Jr., Rt. 2 Box 397, Holden, Louisiana, 70744, about 1967. At that time the headstones were lying on the ground in the middle of a cultivated field. The area around the headstones was not cultivated. According to Mr. Warren Watts, the present land owner, the previous owner had thrown the headstones across the fence. Mr. Watts replaced the headstones on the graves. 1. Kinchen Stewart Sept. 30, 1814 - Mar. 24, 1892 2. (The name is broken off the headstone) Wife of Kinchen Stewart Apr. 3, 1823 - Oct. 12, 1902 Note: Although the name is broken off the headstone, from the Kinchen Stewart Bible in the possession of Mrs. Martha Stewart Hess, the name is given as Elizabeth Chandler, daughter of Samuel and Emma Efferson Chandler. The Bible was published in 1850.
