ANTIOCH CHURCH A small one-room building on the east side of Antioch Creek, north of the Old Baton Rouge Road in Section 15, T6S-R4E, Antioch Church derived its name from the Bible. Reference to Antioch may be found in several chapters of Acts. Built in the late 1800's, the church was also used for a school. Some of the early pastors were Jeff Wax or William Wax, Lou Powers, Joel Ott, and Bob Wascom. Mrs. Lisa Coburn and Horace McIntire were some of the school teachers.
