Aydell Lane Livingston Parish, Louisiana File prepared by D.N. Pardue ********************************************** Copyright. Reprinted by permission. Dedicated to the memory of Reuben Cooper and Raymond Riggs. AYDELL LANE was formerly named the Harrell Road for Lewis Harrell who owned property in Section 16, T8S-R4E near the head of Colyell Bay, according to state land map of 1870. However, the changing of the road name to Aydell Lane in later years relates to the Aydells who are descendants of Antonio Aydell who settled in Section 60, T8S-R4E as early as 1810. This road intersects with La. Hwy. 16 in Section 37 east of Colyell Bay and takes a north route through Sections 60 and 16 where it ends. -- Lucille Cooper * * *
