CAMP CREEK This creek begins in Section 11, T8S-R4E where it receives the waters of Dodes and Roderick Creeks, then it crosses La. Hwy. 42 and courses through Section 10 of T8S-R4E. At this point it flows into Colyell Creek and it is here at this spot that the story is told of an old log camp that existed there for many years by the name of "Sam's Camp." Some years ago a large canal was made through this creek to Colyell Creek. --- Lucille Cooper * * *
