WATTS ROAD intersects the Palmer Road in Section 13, T8S-R4E, and runs west through Sections 13, 14, and 15 of T8S-R4E to La. Hwy. 42, the Colyell Road. Watts Road is named for William Commodore Watts, an early settler of the area. There are as many as eight families living along this road today who are direct descendants of Commodore Watts and his brother Mayhew Watts, both of whom married daughters of Mr. and Mrs. William "Bill" Loflin. -----Lucille Cooper * * * * *
