Reprinted by permission. Dedicated to the memory of Reuben Cooper and Raymond Riggs. HALL, a discontinued post office, is shown on a 1934 map published by the Mississippi River Commission as being located about six miles north of Walker. It was established on Aug. 27, 1907, and was, no doubt, named for its first postmaster, Thomas Hall. The office was discontinued on Feb. 29, 1928.
