NEW SETTLEMENT OF SANTA HELENA Some of those who claimed land in the new settlement of Saint Helena in the year 1803-04 included: Alexander Bookter (1,000 arpents), November 12, 1803; Charles Proffit (1,000 arpents), April 26, 1803; and Beverly Chew and Richard Relf (20,000 arpents), February 3, 1804.
