Two Die in Murder Suicide

Gary Savoie 81 of Denham Springs was shot and killed inside his mobile home on 
4-H road south of Denham Springs on Sunday Sept 6, 2009.  Gary Salpietra, whom 
Mr. Savoie had unofficially adopted as a young child, shot Mr. Savoie.

Mr. Salpietra had been recently making death threats.  He shot Mr. Savoie and 
then used gasoline to set the mobile home on fire and then shot himself
