Arceneaux 84 of Albany died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at our lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. He was born Sunday, Dec 13, 1925 in Springfield and was a veteran of the US Army having served in World War II. He was also retired from Western Electric after 32 years of service and was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Arceneaux was an elder at Hungarian Presbyterian Church in Hungarian Settlement (south of Albany). Visitation was held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond until the funeral service officiated by the Rev Don Thursby with the Rev Joe Dun assisting with interment in Hungarian Presbyterian Church Cemetery. His wife of 53 years, a son and daughter-in-law, a daughter-in-law, three granddaughters, a sister and numerous nieces and nephews survives him. Preceding him in death were his parents, Louis and Tothice Arceneaux; a son, David Arceneaux; five brothers, Milton Arceneaux, Hillary Arceneaux, Felix Arceneaux, Wilford Arceneaux, and Calvin Arceneaux; three sisters, Alma Crane, Louise Hodges, and Doris Graves.
