She was a native of Baton Rouge. She was talented and would crochet and make crafts for school events and holidays as much as her arthritis would permit. She was an excellent cook and loved to make enough to share with anyone who wanted a home cooked meal. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 until the funeral service. Her husband of 41 years, three sons and a daughter-in-law, a sister and brother-in-law, six grandchildren, her father and stepmother, two aunts, two nieces and a nephew-in-law, a nephew, numerous cousins and her best friends survives her. Preceding her in death was her daughter, Nicole Baker Ramezanloo; her mother, Patsy Shingleur Myers; her grandmother, Myrtle Shingleur; her grandfather, James A. Shingleur; and an uncle, James A.
