BALLARD, JOSEPH RODRICK “RED”, Sr.

Joseph Roderick “Red” Ballard, Sr., 76 died Aug 19, 2006 at 4:00 AM at his 
residence in Walker.  He was a native of Springfield and a retired Carpenter.  
He was also a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Navy.

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs.  Burial was in 
Carter Cemetery, Springfield.

Surviving Mr. Ballard was his wife of 57 years, six daughters and sons-in-law, 
two sons and daughters-in-law, two sisters, three brothers, and numerous 
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Joe Oscar Ballard; mother, Sophia Amy 
Bailey Forrest; stepfather, Jim Forrest; and son James.
