BALLARD, HERBERT D.

Herbert D. Ballard 94 of Walker died at 3:20 pm on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 
Golden Age Nursing Home in Denham Springs.  He was a life long resident of 
Corbin/Walker and was retired from Ethyl Corporation after 34 years of 
service.  He was born September 13, 1916 and was a member of Judson Baptist 
Church.

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Tuesday, 
January 11, 2011 and resumed on Wednesday, January 12, 2010 at Judson Baptist 
Church until the religious services with interment following in Judson Baptist 
Church Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, sons and daughters-in-law, a 
brother, 14 grandchildren,  30 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-
grandchildren, and a great-great-great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Docia Viola Tisdale Ballard; his first 
wife, Irene Hull Ballard; his parents, Clarence I. and Pearl Melva Forbes 
Ballard; two sons, Sidney Ray and Rodney Clifton Ballard; a grandson, Duane 
Price; a brother, Delvin Ballard; and a sister, Essie Covington.
