BANKSTON, DOUGLAS L.

Douglas L. Bankston 72 a lifelong resident of Albany died Tuesday Dec 29, 2009 
at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond.  He was retired from the Louisiana 
Department of Agriculture and Forestry after 23 years of service.  

Visitation was held at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in Baptist on Friday 
Jan 1, 2009 from 6 to 9 pm and resumed on Saturday Jan 2, 2010 from 9 to 11 am 
with interment in Bankston Cemetery, north of Albany.

He is survived by his wife, a son and daughter-in-law, two daughters, seven 
grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters and a brother.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Arthur and Vivian Morgan Bankston; 
and a brother, James L. Bankston.
