BARBER, JOHN C.

John C. Barber 79 died Tuesday, Oct 20, 2009 at 5:25 pm at his residence in 
Holden.  He was a retired employee with Sunbeam Bread and Jack’s Cookies. He 
was a member and deacon of Magnolia Baptist Church of Holden.

Services were held at Magnolia Baptist Church in Holden, with interment in 
Stafford Cemetery in Holden.

His wife, a daughter, two sons and daughters-in-law, a sister, four 
grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a brother-in-law survive him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, John F. and Ora Durbin Barber; a 
grandson, Phillip Adam Evarts; a brother, Truman Barber and a sister, Betty 
Gomez.
