BARRY, KATHRYN MANGUM

Kathryn Mangum Barry 87 of Denham Springs passed away peacefully in her sleep 
at the home of her daughter and son-in-law on Dec. 23, 2008. She was 87 years 
old. She was born May 3, 1921 and was a native of Alba, Mo. 

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 29, 2008. The family received friends 
prior to the service time. Burial followed at Friends Cemetery in Purcell.

Survivors include her brother, two daughters and a son-in-law, her son and a 
daughter-in-law, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Carl Mangum and Edna Seybold 
Mangum Patterson of Alba, Mo., her older brother George Walter Mangum, and her 
sister-in-law Marie Mangum of Wynne, Ark.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
