BASCO, WILLIAM “COON”

William “Coon” Basco 74 died Wednesday, Feb 10, 2010 at his home in 
Flatwoods.  He was a member of St. Cyril Catholic Church in Flatwoods.  He was 
a retired welder and member of Local 198 Pipefitters Association.

Visitation was held at Rush Funeral Home in Pineville on Friday, Feb 12, 2010 
with a recitation of the rosary in the funeral home chapel and resumed on 
Saturday, Feb 13, 2010 until the funeral service with interment in Flatwoods 
Cemetery in Flatwoods.

His wife of 31 years, a son and daughter-in-law, four brothers, a sister, 
three grandchildren, two grandsons-in-law, and two great-grandchildren 
survives him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Abe and Anna Basco; a brother, Gary 
Basco, Sr.; and a great-grandchild, Caleb Lynn Carter.
