Livingston Parish News-June 25, 2009
Bencaz, Brent Oddom

Brent Odom Bencaz of Livingston passed away at his residence on June 18, 2009 
at 8:50 PM.  Mr. Bencaz was employed by the Livingston Parish School Board as 
an Assistant Business Manager for over 32 years.  He was a graduate of Doyle 
High School and Southeastern Louisiana University, serving as Alumni 
President..  He was an Alderman for the town of Livingston, also serving on 
the Livingston Parish Fair Association.  He also served on the Livingston 
Recreation District Board, the 88 Hunting Club, SASBO and was an active member 
of Livingston United Methodist Church.

Visitation was held at Livingston UMC, and butial was in Maurepas Cemetery, 
Maurepas.

He is survived by a daughter, a grandson, his fiancé; as well as numerous 
cousins, friends and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odom Guy Bencaz and Emily Kroll 
Bencaz.

Seale Funeral Home of Livingston was in charge of arrangements.
