She was a native of Plymouth, NC and a member of Goodwill Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, watching her soaps, and reading. Survivors include her mother Edna Spruill Davis, Plymouth NC; two daughters, Eva Bennett, and Bessie Reid, four sons Martin James, Eddie, Mike, and Randy Bennett of Albany; two sisters Julia, and Eva; eight brothers, Bobby, Lewis, Grayson, Leonard, Charlie, Howard, Dennis, and Joe; and eight grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband, Felix James Bennett, of Albany; two brothers, John Edward and Jimmy Lee Davis; a sister, Alice Virginia Davis; her father, Joseph W. Davis; her maternal grandparents, Herbert Spruill and Della Virginia Singleton Spruill Raney; and paternal grandparents, Joseph W. and Alice Roxanna Collins Davis. All the Davis family were of North Carolina. Visitation was at Geisler Funeral Home. The funeral services were held Wednesday at 10 AM at James Chapel UMC, with burial in the James Chapel Cemetery, Holden.
