Eva Irene “Sis” Bennett

Eva Irene “Sis” Bennett a resident of Albany and a former resident of Chalmette
died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at her residence in Albany.  She was born
September 26, 2012 in Norfolk VA and had lived most of her life in Albany.

Graveside services were held on Friday, August 31, 2012 at James Chapel Cemetery
in Holden. Arrangements were provided by Seale Funeral Home of Livingston.

Surviving Sis were her two daughters, Virginia Ann Cuccia and Christine Marie
Cuccia; three brothers, Eddie Bennett, Mike Bennett and Randy Bennett; a sister,
Bessie Diane “Goldie” Baham; Uncles, Joseph S. Davis, Dennis Davis, Grayson
Davis, Howard Davis and his wife Pat; Leonard Davis and his wife Elaine, Lewis
Davis and his wife Thelma, Bobby Davis and his wife Ruby, Charlie Davis and his
wife Judy and Merrvin Beddard; an aunt Julia Davis Price and her husband
Seymour; two nieces, Kacie Michelle Bennett and Jessica Lynn Freeman; a nephew,
Thomas Michael Bennett; a great niece, Haley Bullock; two great nephews, Joseph
E. “JoJo” Bullock and Harley Gasenberger IV.

Preceding Sis in death was her infant son, John Wayne Cuccia; her parents, Felix
James Bennett and Calla Mae Davis Bennett; her paternal grandmother Eva E.
Gordon; her paternal grandfather, James Martin Bennett; her maternal
grandparents, Joseph W. Davis and Edna Olivia Spruill Davis; a brother, Martin
James Bennett; her aunts, Anne Irene Wisby, Eva Ione Beddard and Juanita Davis;
and uncles, John Edward Davis and his wife Meta and Addris Wisby.
