Martin James Bennett, Age 43, died Saturday, August 19, 2000, at North Oaks Medical Center. >He was a native of Albany, a construction worker with Unique Systems, and a veteran of the National Guard Survivors include his fiance', Tommie Wright, Albany; a stepson Alex Wright, Dallas TX; three sisters; three brothers, Two brothers in Albany, and one brother of Robert LA. Three Aunts, 8 Uncles, 5 Nieces, and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Calla Mae Davis Bennett; grandparents, Eva Gordon, James Martin Bennett, and Joe W. and Edna Spruill Davis. Visitation was at James Chapel UMC, Holden. Wednesday August 23,2000 from 9 am until the funeral service which was held at 11 am. The Rev Carol Richardson and the Rev. Noah P. Hano Sr. conducted the service. Burial was in the church cemetery. Geisler Funeral Home, Albany was in charge of the arrangements.
