BERTHELOT, IRENE LOBELL

Irene Lobell Berthelot 92 of French Settlement died Wednesday, September 29, 
2010 at Old Jefferson Community Care Center in Baton Rouge.  She was a native 
French Settlement and graduate of French Settlement High School.  She enjoyed 
sewing, quilting and working in her yard.

Visitation was held at St. Joesph Catholic Church in French Settlement on 
Monday, October 4, 2010 until Mass of Christian Burial with interment 
following in French  Settlement Community Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, a sister, 
six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death was her first husband and the father of her children, 
Rudolph Murphy; her second husband, Roy Berthelot; her parents, Louis Zachary 
and Celestine Mary Brignac Lobell; a son, Marvin Murphy; five brothers and two 
sisters.
