BESS, JOHN PAUL

John Paul Bess died Aug 1, 2009 at the age of 60.  He was a native of Roanoke, 
VA and a resident of Walker.  Mr. Bess was a veteran of Vietnam, having served 
in the US Marines Corps.  He was a retired Police Officer from the Walker 
Police Dept.  

Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs.  Graveside services were 
observed at Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary.

His two sons and daughters-in-law; two sisters; and five grandchildren survive 
Mr. Bess.

His parents, James R. and Mildred Bess; and brother, Jimmy Bess preceded him 
in death.
