He was a native of Plaquemine and owner and operator of Walker Transmission. All his friends knew him as Uncle Wayne. He loved everybody and loved to tell stories. Visitation was held at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Sunday, May 3, 2009 and resumed on Monday, May 4, 2009 until the religious services with interment in Grace Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, a daughter and son-in-law, a son, a sister, three brothers and two sisters-in-law, his beloved dog, Rico Bezet; and two grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Leona Bezet; a sister, Bonnie Moulin; two brothers, Leonard and Donald Bezet; and a nephew, Kenneth John Bezet. The family would like to thank all the family and friends for all of the loving support that was given to help them through this time.
