She was a retired teacher’s aide for the Terrebonne Parish School Board. She was a member of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church, where she volunteered as a catechism teacher. She also volunteered for Hospice of South Louisiana, Journey Hospice of the Shores and the Terrebonne Parish Food Bank. Visitation was at Chauvin Funeral Home Inc., Houma, on Friday and resumed at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church, Houma, Saturday from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. with interment in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. Her husband, two sons and a daughter-in-law, two daughters and sons-in-law, seven grandchildren, and two sisters and a brother-in-law survive her, Preceding her in death were her parents, Jules L. Rebelle and Rita Stokes Rebelle; and brother, Jules Rebelle III.
