Julius Al Blount, of Walker, died Friday Aug 15. he was 82. He served 12 years as a Livingston Parish Police juror and served four terms in the Louisiana House of Representatives before retiring in 1988. He also retired from Pipefitters Local 198 and Jacobs Engineering. He was a veteran of World War II having serveed his country in the USAF. He was a long time member of Walker Baptist Church and a member of Denham Springs Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of more than 64 years, Wilma Lee; three sons, tow brothers; 8 grand children and 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchilren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mentory Stafford Blount; sister, Elmer Blount Hebert; and two brothers, Troy and Elton Blount. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Sunday Aug 24 from 5pm to 9pm and on Monday Aug 25 from 9am till services at 11am, conducted by Dr. Richard Blue.
