She is a native of Varnado where she was born on May 25, 1923, and lived in Collins, MS until she moved back to Louisiana. She was a member of First Baptist of Denham Springs and the Causey’s Sunday School Class for years. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Sunday, Nov 29, 2009 at the funeral home chapel and on Monday, Nov 30, 2009 until services. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, two sons and a daughter-in-law, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jessie and Pearl Knight; three sisters, Mildred Saulters, Pauline Gulledge and Mary Nell Knight; four brothers, George Knight, Jack Knight, Ernest Knight, and Willie Paul Knight; her husband, Charles Goins, and husband, Scott Advil Booker. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe.
