BOOTY, CHARLES EDWARD

Charles Edward Booty 41 of Denham Springs died Friday Nov 27, 2009.  He was an 
employee of Drago Supply Co.  He was a graduate of LSU, president of the 
Louisiana and Mississippi Golf Course Associations, superintendent and 
basketball coach for Walker Parks and Recreation and played football at 
Northwestern State University, and Southwest Mississippi Junior College.  He 
was a member of Plainview Baptist Church and owner of Simply Southern Fine 
Homes

Visitation was held at Plainview Baptist Church in Denham Springs on Monday, 
Nov 30, 2009, with a religious service on Tuesday, Dec 1, 2009 with interment 
in Plainview Baptist Church Cemetery.

His wife, his father and mother, two daughters, a sister, a mother- and father-
in-law, a niece, four nephews, a sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law and many 
friends survive him.

Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Pearlie Stone; and grandfather, 
Nile Stone.

Church Funeral Services of St. Amant provided arrangements.
