She was born June 12, 1930 in Haynesville. She was a retired nurse having worked in private practice as well as Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 and resumed on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until funeral mass at 10 a.m. celebrated by the Rev Miles Walsh with interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Two daughters and sons-in-law, a son, six grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters survive her. Preceding her in death was her husband of 45 years, Elijah David Bossier; her parents, Daniel Webster and Mary Ann “Molly” Plunkett Martin; six brothers, Earl, Willie Dee, L.P., W.D., Ellis and Pat and three sisters, Mabel Thomas, Idell Camp, and Edna Merritt.
