BOWERS, DORIS ELIZABETH

Doris Elizabeth Bowers 93 of Baker died at 1:45 pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 
at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet in Baton Rouge.  She was a 
native of Pecos TX.  She was a former member of Faith Baptist Church in Baker 
and a member of First Baptist Church in Zachary.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 15, 2009 until the funeral services with 
interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Her daughter, a son and daughter-in-law, 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-
grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren survive her. 

Preceding her in death was her husband, Frank Bowers; a daughter, Shirley 
Favaron; and a son, Frankie Bowers.
