BROWNING, CATHERINE SKEAHAN “MAMA CAT”

Catherine Skeahan "Mama Cat" Browning 91 died at 10:26 am Friday, May 8, 2009 
at Flannery Oaks Guest House.  She was a native and resident of Baton Rouge 
and was a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she volunteered 
in many aspects of the church, and was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church.
Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East on Monday, May 11, 2009 
until religious services with interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, two sons and daughters-
in-law, 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; four great-great-
grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Her husband, John Eual Browning, preceded her in death. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Society or 
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
