She was a native of Ponchatoula and was a warm, loving, generous person. She was a member of She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Denham Springs where she enjoyed volunteering. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Monday, Feb 7, 2010 and resumed on Tuesday, Feb 8, 201 at First United Methodist Church of Denham Springs until the service with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park. Two sons and daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, a granddaughter-in-law, a great-grandchild, an expected great-grandchild, a sister and brother-in-law, a brother and sister-in-law, and numerous nieces and nepews survive her. Preceding her in death was her husband, Jimmy Callender; and her parents, Kevlin “Ted” and Ruby Thomas Pritchard. The family requested that donations be made to her favorite charities, First UMC of Denham Springs, the Methodist Children’s Home in Ruston and American Society.
