She was a native of Baton Rouge and a 1971 graduate of Istrouma High School. She was a former dental assistant. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Carpenter’s Chapel in Prairieville. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Tuesday, Dec 22, 2009 and resumed on Wednesday until the time of the funeral service with interment in Faithful Methodist Church Cemetery in Lake. Her husband of 34 years, a daughter, a son and daughter-in-law, a brother and sister-in-law, her mother-in-law, a sister-in-law and her husband, a brother- in-law and numerous nieces and nephews survives her.
