He was a native of Port Vincent and was retired from Exxon USA. Mr. Cambre was a veteran of the US Navy having served during World War II. He was a faithful member, deacon and Sunday school teacher at Walker Baptist Church. Visitation was held at Walker Baptist Church on Monday, April 26, 2010 until religious services conducted by the Dr. Richard Blue with interment in Stafford Cemetery No. 1 in Holden. His wife of 64 years, two daughters and a son-in-law, a granddaughter and a grandson-in-law, three great-grandchildren, an expected great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews survives him.
