Roy Carraway 

Roy Carraway, 66, of Smithdale, Miss., died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at his 
home. He was born Aug. 20, 1944, in Smithdale. He was the son of John H. and 
Alice Marie Avant Carraway. He was a retired electrician and a member of Oak 
Grove Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Maureen Coker. 

He is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, a son and daughter-in-law, 
daughter and son-in-law, a sister and brother-in-law, ; a brother, and six 
grandchildren. 

Visitation was at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Fenn Road, Smithdale, on Sunday 
until services, with the Rev. Burnette Carraway officiating. Burial was in the 
church cemetery.
