CASTELLO, RUBY EVELYN MCKNIGHT

Ruby Evelyn McKnight Castello of Bluff Creek died Friday, July 16, 2010 at the 
Butterfly Wing of Baton Rouge Hospice.  She was Chief Civil Deputy for the 
East Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Department.  She was a faithful member of 
Bluff Creek Methodist Church and was Secretary/treasurer of Bluff Creek 
Cemetery Association.

Visitation was held at Bluff Creek Baptist Church on Sunday, July 18, 2010 and 
resumed on Monday, July 19, 2010 until the religious services with interment 
in Bluff Creek Cemetery.

Her husband of 44 years, a son and daughter-in-law; a sister, a brother and 
sister-in-law; two special sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews and their 
families; and numerous family and friends survive her.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Bridges and Lora McKnight; a twin 
brother, Richard E. “Dickie” McKnight; and a brother-in-law, Ben Lee Allen.
