CHAVERS, HAZEL EARLINE REINNINGER

Hazel Earline Reinninger Chavers 84 died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at her home in 
Watson after a long illness.  She was born Aug 10, 1924 in Livingston Parish 
and graduated in 1942 from Live Oak High School, where she was a star 
basketball player.  She was also a member of Redeeming Life Church.

Visitation was held at Redeeming Life Church in Walker on Monday, May 18, 2009 
and resumed on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 11 am until services at 1 pm with 
interment in Salem Cemetery. 

A sister and brother-in-law, five daughters and three sons-in-law, two sons 
and daughters-in-law, 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and 
great-great-grandchildren survive her.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Will C. Reinninger and Julie 
Geneva “Eva” Brown; 12 siblings, her husband of 47 years, Thomas “T” Phillips.
