He was a retired longshoreman with Local 1833. A memorial service was held at his home in Bueche. Two daughters, two sons and a daughter-in-law, four sisters and two brother-in- law, two brothers, a brother-in-law, nine grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren survive him. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ambrose O. and Mary T. Chiasson; wife, Cecile Chiasson; two sisters, Elizabeth Godwin and Elaine Munson; two brothers, Ambrose J. and Paul A. Chiasson; two sisters-in-law, Wanda D. Chiasson and Jan S. Chaisson; and brother-in-law, John G. Francios. Arrangements provided by Wilbert Funeral Home of Port Allen.
