She was a native of Dutchtown and a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, where he faith ministries were catechist teacher, Eucharistic minister, parish council member, and Altar Society member. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3693Ladies Auxiliary and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Council 6389. Visitation was held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant on Saturday, Dec 5, 2009 from 8 am until 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Entombment was in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum. Four daughters and sons-in-law, five sons and six daughters-in-law, a sister, two brothers and three sisters-in-law, 33 grandchildren, and 39 great- grandchildren survive her. Preceding her in death were her husband of 59 years, Arthur J. Clouatre Sr.; two sons, Clark M. Clouatre and Rodger J. Clouatre; her parents, Frank Frederic and Edna Graham Frederic; two brothers, Julius Benton Frederic and Welman Bentley Frederic; a grandson, Corey W. Clouatre; and a son-in-law, Curtis Hebert.
