Ronnie was a proud member of the Baton Rouge Boat Club and an avid fan of the LSU Tigers and the Saints. He enjoyed living on the Amite River, boating and his famous crawfish boils. He lived life to the fullest. He will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by a sister, a brother and sister-in-law, two stepbrothers, a stepmother, Bobbie J. Cobb; four nieces and a nephew-in-law, four nephews, five great-nephews; and best friend, Buffy. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald G. Cobb; mother and stepfather, Bobbie M. and Bill Shipp; paternal grandparents, J.R. and Lee Vern Cobb; maternal grandparents, Telesphor and Ledie Mire; nephew, Devon Jackson; niece, Kayla Cox; and stepbrothers, John and Jimmy Cox. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, Thursday, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until a service at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Baton Rouge. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice and to Aunt Charlene.
