COMPTON JIMMY “PETE” SR.

Jimmy “Pete” Compton Sr., 71 of Bayou Pigeon died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 
his home.  He was a retired sheet metal worker with Local 21.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Seale Funeral Home of 
Denham Springs and resumed on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from noon until the 
services at 1 p.m., with interment following in Evergreen Memorial Park.

He was survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law, 
13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, a sister and brother-in-law, 
as well as his constant companion, Suzie-Q.  He was also survived by a host of 
extended family and friends.

Preceding him in death was his parents, L.V. Compton and Jenny Hutchinson; the 
mother of his children, Barbara Compton; a son, Jimmy Compton Jr.; a sister, 
Polly Avery; and a brother, Freddie Compton.
