COX, WILLIAM “GENE” SR

William “Gene” Cox Sr., 68 died Monday, Nov 30, 2009 at his residence in 
Walker.  He was a native of Antlers, Oklahoma.

Graveside funeral services were held at the Hillsdale Cemetery in Amite on 
Thursday, Dec 3, 2009.

His loving wife of 46 years, a son, a brother and sister-in-law, a 
granddaughter, his father-in-law, a sister-in-law and her husband, two nieces, 
two great-nieces, and four great-nephews survive him.

Preceding him in death was his father, Albert Cox; his mother, Fern Holton; a 
grandmother, Josey Hawes; an aunt, Hick Garman; his mother-in-law, Margie S. 
Hoyt; and stepmother-in-law, Myrtle Sharkey Hoyt.
