He was a retired industrial painter with local 728 and a veteran of the Korean War where he served with the US Army. Visitation was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kinkead Hall in French Settlement on Thursday Jan 14, 2010 from 9 am until the funeral service at 11 am with interment in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in French Settlement. His wife, two daughters and son-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law, five sisters, a brother and sister-in-law, seven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews survive him. His beloved dogs, Duke, Belle and Jose’ will also miss him. Preceding him in death were his parents, Denver Lyle and Leonie Burns Crotwell; a brother, W.C. Crotwell; an infant sister, Lucille Crotwell; and two nephews, Stephen and Jeffery Crotwell. Arrangements were handles by Seale Funeral Home of Denham Springs.
