Elvin P. Crotwell 77 died at 11:30 am Saturday May 2, 2009 at his residence in Brusly. He was a retired employee with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. He was born in Livingston Parish, and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Crotwell was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Visitation was at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday May 4, 2009 with a Moose ritual and resumed on Tuesday May 5, 2009 in the funeral home chapel until religious services with interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, son and his wife, two daughters and sons-in-law, two stepdaughters and husbands, a stepson and wife, 13 grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren; two brothers and wives, two sisters, a sister-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Crotwell and Linnie Crotwell Slaughter; daughter, Sharon Gail Lambert; brother, Clifford Crotwell; and great-grandson, Trystan Young.
