He was born Jan 21, 1933 and a native of Montpelier. He served as a St. Helena Parish Constable for more than 30 years and was the 2002 St. Helena Parish Forest Festival King. Visitation was held at Greensburg First Baptist Church in Greensburg on Wednesday, Dec 30, 2009 until the time of the funeral service with interment in Greensburg Cemetery. His wife of 54 years, a daughter, two sons and a daughter-in-law, a sister, a brother and sister-in-law, eight grandchildren and their spouses, two step- grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren survives him.
